Cook-off Rules
Two (2) of each entry must be delivered; one for tasting/judging ; one for sale (auction)
to the public. This is a fund-raising event for the non-profit historic James House.
Entries to be sold (auctioned) must be in non-returnable containers.
Prominent ingredient in each entry must be apples, pears or blueberries, or
combination of any of these.
Contestants may enter as many items as they wish, but a separate registration form
must be submitted for each entry.

prizes will be awarded in each category based on judges' choice.
An overall grand prize will be awarded based on the people's choice.
Copies of the recipe(s) will be gratefully accepted, to be used (with acknowledgment of
the donor) in a future cookbook project.
This event will be held on the grounds of the Historic James House, 186 Towle Farm
Road, Hampton, NH, at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 17, 2009. Entries should arrive
between 12:30 pm & 1:00pm; judging will start at 1:30 pm. Tasting will start at 2:00.
In case of bad weather on Saturday October 17th, the cook-off will be held on October
18th at the same time and place.
